So nothing remains hidden – If symptoms do not clearly indicate causes, or if problems need to be detected before they become expensive damage, the workshop must be able to gain an insight even if this is elusive to the naked eye.

Great enlightenment at a small price

The borescope set 4812-11/5FS is indispensable basic equipment for every professional automotive workshop. The 4812-11FS probe, just 4.9 millimetres in diameter, sheds light on any darkness with its two HD cameras and its dimmable LEDs. The semi-flexible camera head can easily be guided through narrow cavities. With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, two different zoom levels (1.5x/2x) and a depth of focus of 10 to 100 millimetres as well as a viewing angle of 90°, it delivers razor-sharp images to the basic unit.

The front camera illuminates cavities with five powerful LEDs. Integrated at a 90° angle, the second camera offers a detailed view of the lateral areas, illuminated by another LED. The probe is resistant to temperatures from -10° to 60° Celsius. It is dustproof and can even withstand temporary submersion (IP67 protection standard).

The two cameras can be switched at any time on the handy 4812-11G basic unit, which is easy to operate via ergonomic buttons. The high-resolution images can be saved as image files or full-resolution videos on the enclosed 32 GB memory card.
