Sustainability
We are aware of our responsibility towards our employees, our environment and society. We live this in all areas of our company. Our quality products are the core of our company. Besides their long service life, our tools can also be used to repair other products. This makes our tools doubly sustainable.
In our family company, we focus on services for the community and the environment alongside our economic aims, in order to ensure we can do business on a sustainable basis for generations to come. For us, it goes without saying that we assume the function of a role model and integrate the necessary sense of responsibility in terms of protecting and conserving the environment within the company. We therefore place great value on maintaining our standards even when selecting our suppliers and service providers. We also set the standards very high for safety at work as our employees are our most important asset.
We wish to avoid substances hazardous to water (e.g. acids, lyes, oils, coolants etc.) or store and use them in such a way that no damage is done to the environment. Wastewater must only be discharged in clean condition. Emissions that come from our company must not cause any damage to the environment or people.
Corporate environmental protection to us means looking at, analysing and improving company processes in their entirety. Negative impacts on the environment can only be reduced by taking appropriate care during production and provision of services.
We are obligated to comply with official requirements, laws and provisions and constantly improve the corporate environmental protection. For all measures for protecting the environment, we orientate ourselves by the best available and economically viable technology. We consider this to be a matter of course in our entrepreneurial activities.
Successful environmental protection can only be achieved through the active cooperation of all employees. That is why we want to inform and educate every employee so well that they can take active responsibility for their daily actions in our company.
We wish to engage in an open and objective dialogue with our business partners, neighbours, authorities and the interested public about our company and are open to suggestions.
When procuring our raw and auxiliary materials, we observe ecological criteria and we give preference to suppliers from Germany and other countries that attach as much importance to environmental protection, working conditions and resource conservation as we do. We want to protect the environment by shortening transport routes, which is why we use steel from Germany and why, among other things, we still have a very high in-house production share of over 75% by today's standards.
We regularly monitor and assess the environmental impact of all our business activities in strict audits with neutral institutions as well as the achievement of the targets we have set, which are of course constantly adjusted as new findings are made.
